The Ridgecrest Area Convention and Visitors Bureau was established in 1992 as a non-profit organization committed to helping tourists get the most out of their desert adventures. Located just 2 ½ hours northeast of Los Angeles, many visitors use Ridgecrest as a "hub" for several days to visit the many natural attractions, including Death Valley National Park, Mount Whitney, Sequoia National Park, Disneyland, Yosemite National Park, Paso Robles wine country, Mammoth Mountain ski resort, and Las Vegas.
